Off Campus Education
Off-Campus Education Programs include:
- RAP (Registered Apprenticeship Program)
- Work Experience
- GREEN Certificate
RAP (Registered Apprenticeship ): Program
- Designed for high school students who want to begin training in a trade of their choice
- Can earn up to 40 credits towards their high school diploma (125 hours per 5 credit course)
- Earn up to 1,000 hours towards journeyperson certification as an apprentice through Alberta Government Apprenticeship and Industry Training

Work Experience
- Developed for high school students to apply their knowledge, skills and attitudes in the workplace
- 25 hours of work for one high school credit
- Can involve volunteer work, paid employment, or a combination of both
- Can earn up to 30 credits with 15 of those awarded toward your High School Diploma
Green Certificate
- A joint effort between Alberta Education and Alberta Agriculture
- AGR3000 is a prerequisite
- Students must be enrolled and approved by Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation prior to working on any Green Certificate Courses
