Provincial Achievement Test Schedule
Provincial Achievement Tests – Students in Grades 3, 6, and 9 must write provincial achievement tests. These tests provide important information to teachers, students, and parents and help to ensure Alberta’s students receive high quality education. Achievement tests are written in January, May, and June each year.
Practice Achievement Tests – Students getting ready to write achievement tests can download previous exams and answer keys or take an exam online.
Diploma Exams General Information – Secondary students enrolled in a level 30 or 33 course must write diploma exams and achieve a final blended mark of 50 percent or higher to gain credit in a diploma exam course. Diploma exams are written in January, June and August each year.
Practice Diploma Exams – Students preparing to write diploma exams can download previous exams and answer keys or take an exam online.
Transcripts
High School Transcripts – High School Transcripts are issued through Alberta Education. Students may download a Transcript Request Form or order their transcript online.
