LIFE Framework
Catholic schools share a foundational belief that all children are loved by God and are individually unique. We believe we have a mission to help each student fulfill their God-given potential in all aspects of their person: physically, academically, socially, morally, and spiritually.
We use the Lived Inclusion For Everyone (LIFE) Framework as a guideline for the creation and operation of student groups and their approach to inclusion. The LIFE Framework allows for the exploration, within a Catholic context, of a variety of issues, including: bullying; sexual harassment; sexual orientation; gender identity; discrimination; justice; and respectful relationships and language.
Alberta legislation recognizes parents have both the right and responsibility to make informed decisions about the education of their children. Please accept this as general notice that students may organize LIFE Framework/Diversity clubs at their schools. If a LIFE Framework/Diversity club is formed, notification will be sent to all parents.
