STAR Catholic Transportation Survey

We're gearing up for the 2024-25 school year and your feedback is needed to help us and our partnering divisions understand and meet your transportation needs. Currently, students are eligible for transportation when they live 2.4 km or greater from their designated school.
Under the new eligibility, effective September 2024, students will be eligible for transportation based on the following:
- Grades K-6: if the riders home to school driving distance is 1.0 km or greater.
- Grades 7-12: if the riders home to school driving distance is 2.0 km or greater.
If your child falls within the above new criteria, they will be eligible to ride the bus to and from school. We know that not all families who are eligible to ride the bus choose to do so. This survey aims to gather insights about your family's thoughts, plans, and intentions around busing, given the upcoming change to the eligibility requirements for funded riders.
