STAR Catholic takes part in Blanket Exercise

STAR Catholic School Division's Board of Trustees and staff were led by Sacred Heart School students and staff from Wetaskiwin in a Blanket Exercise May 17, 2017.

The Blanket Exercise is a powerful interactive learning experience, as participants take on the roles of Indigenous peoples in Canada, as they walk through pre-contact, treaty-making, colonization and resistance.
